This is a program for speakers of languages other than English, whose English is already at a post-intermediate to advanced level. The program aims to develop students' language proficiency to an advanced level. It includes a range of core and optional courses from which students can choose to make up a program that matches their needs and goals. To achieve the Diploma in English, students must successfully complete two of the following core courses (one in the first semester and one in the second semester). Courses include:
Partial diploma study may be recognised with the award of a certificate. For this diploma, these include the Certificate in English (Upper Intermediate, Advanced), Certificate in English for Academic Studies, Certificate in English for Business and Computing and Certificate in English for Professional Employment. Language) teaching situation and/or be able to teach sufficient EFL/ESL classes.
They will need audio and video recording equipment.
